New Delhi Nature Festival is being organised by New Delhi Nature Society and Bombay Natural History Society this year at the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary with the purpose of raising awareness about nature through many fun and learning based activities over 3 days, from March 31st to 2nd April.
If cloud spotting, tree climbing, adventure, nature walks, kitchen gardening, yoga, origami and movies sound like a fun set of activities to do, then this festival will give you opportunities to not only participate and learn but also meet likeminded people from various NGOs and get involved in nature conservation.
The festival will also have stalls for natural products, healthy food , fun games and nature related NGO's. There will be artwork and photography exhibited with the theme of nature as well as workshops in the forest, walks, talks, film screening, adventure activities etc.
This festival is set for Spring time which is the best time for flowers, butterflies and birds so you can enjoy the sanctuary in all its beauty.
This festival is the need of the hour, especially for Delhi residents, to be inspired and motivated to live more sustainably and to be compassionate towards the environment.
This is the ideal platform for addressing environmental issues and solutions.
The idea is to promote shopping locally, buying organic food, health and fitness, ecology of Delhi, sustainable energy solutions, and creating a nature friendly atmosphere for the children who will shape the future of our planet.
