The Glastonbury Frost Fayre is An Extravaganza of Seasonal Magnificence When Our Community comes together to Celebrate'Peace and Goodwill to All' at this Festive Time of Year.
Stalls and Late night shopping. 10.00am until 7.00pm
140 Frost Fayre stalls,
15 Farmers Market Stalls,
Also, Christmas Markets in The United Reformed Church and St Benedicts, St Johns'Churches..
Other Attractions include:
• Father Christmas and his helper Fairies and Elves will be visiting with their special magic and can be found in the United Reformed Church on the High Street where the children can talk to him about their Christmas Stockings...
• All day buskers and live street entertainment
Live Performances at The Melodrome Stage which will be at the top of the High Street again this year.
The Glastonbury FM Radio Stage will be situated outside St Dunstans' House by the Town Hall again and the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir will be enertaining us there around 12noon.
The Childrens Area will also be there...
The magnificent Vintage Vehicles of Yester-Year will one again gather in St Dunstans' Car Park for inspection.
Stangers Horse Drawn Stage will be outside The King Arthur again.
Hawthorns will have a Stage in Northload St.
Musicians will also be performing festive music and song at two 'Busk Stops' outside , (one St. John's Church and the other outside the old Boots shop opposite the Market Cross) and also around the Christmas Tree.
Glastonbury's own newly formed Town Band will be performing for the very first time at The Frost Fayre in St Johns Churchyard, where they will be enthralling us with 'A Christmas Concert'. later moving to the Market Place, for the Blessing and 'turning on of the Lights of the Town's Christmas Tree at approx 5.00 pm to 5.30pm..GMT (Glastonbury Maybe time!)
All artists will be listed on the various Stages notice boards.
