Event Description

The first of a series of ambient and seated immersive a/v entertainment. We are trying out a beautiful new space - please be respectful of it and others.

Bary Center (WV)-
"Bary Center is Mark Williams, a minimalist producer that dresses his angular techno up with shambling rhythms and a chilly atmosphere"-- Decoder

.".off-grid electronics dissolving in pixelated volutes, all set against a rough-hewn dystopian scenario, Bary Center makes his way across abrasive circuits and molten electronics like one would invoke sleeping demons at a haunted warehouse"
Inverted Audio

"..sounds like equal parts Ben Frost and Steve Reich, blended on an electric soundboard in hell. It is what I would expect to hear in the background if my life were a David Cronenberg film"
Tiny Mix Tapes

J Butler -
J Butler (b. 1983) is a musician and sound artist living in Pittsburgh, PA. His work focuses on experimenting with guitars, effects pedals, diy/customized electronics, tape machines, synthesizers, and digital signal processing.

"Butler proves himself to be one of many musicians working today who has made restraint into a productive creative ethos, a common diligence that makes this contribution no less meaningful, and at times downright memorable."
The Quietus

To Sleep At Night -
Isolation, futility, worship.

Molded by a lifelong sense of introversion; To Sleep At Night makes art as a study of inner conceptions of isolation, futility, and worship. His focus lies in consolidating a sense of reclusion in order to cope with, and meditate upon, feelings of rage and depression. His musical style is impacted by dark ambience, sound collage, and film scoring.

Dilettante -
Degraded and warm swells of forgotten memories - Tyler Thompson's 'Dilettante' is a truly beautiful project recently emerging from Pittsburgh that is worthy of your attention. Tape and record loops that channel a disintegrated past.
