Houston LGBT Pride Celebration® 2018 // 40th Anniversary!

2018 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Houston LGBT Pride Celebration®, the OFFICIAL Pride of Houston.
THEME: The 40th anniversary is typically known as the "ruby" anniversary so you can imagine the theme we're going for to match the most iconic rubies ever... #slippers #oz
It will again be in DOWNTOWN HOUSTON. City Hall in Downtown was where the event that is widely know as Houston's own "Stonewall" occurred in 1977, as thousands protested against Anita Bryant.
This event is ADMISSION FREE and open to the public to attend/watch and open to the public (no age limit). No tickets are necessary except for the VIP area. There are no tickets necessary for general admission.

The Houston Pride Festival® and Houston Pride Parade® are at the center of the Celebration with an attendance of over 700,000 people every year from all over the world. Come and join all of the LGBT Community in celebrating who we are as a people and how much more we still need to FIGHT FOR.
OUR SAFETY MEASURES
As a reminder, firearms are not allowed into the festival. Because we take your safety seriously, there will be HPD officers, Private Security Forces and random vehicle searches within the festival.
