Canine Wellness & Balanced Behaviours by Dr. Isla Fishburn
Old Billingham Community Centre
Saturday, 28 April 2018, 10:00
This one day talk will introduce you canine wellness and how you can provide a life for your dog that is happy, healthy and safe.
Many dogs in our society are subjected to emotional, physical, nutritional and energetic stressors that are not natural or normal and this is creating a population of dogs that are fearful, aggressive, unwell, over-stressed, over-stimulated and nutritionally stressed.
This is causing havoc to the wellness and longevity of our dogs today and if we are to provide a life of health and happiness for our dogs then wellness is the key.
This talk will introduce you to the Canine Wellness Wheel and the many factors that affect canine wellness.
You will learn about the importance of nutrition, safety, group dynamics, working with the senses, environmental balance, illness, character, mobility on all planes to name a few.
Our dogs are in an emotional, physical and/or energetic crisis and it is up to us, their guardian's, to learn how best to raise, protect, teach and safeguard our dogs so that they live a life to perfect health, emotional balance and longevity.
Isla's knowledge of dogs is phenomenal! This one day talk will suit everyone who works with, owns or simply loves dogs!
I myself have attended this one day talk in the past and found it so interesting that I then booked up and attended Isla's more in depth 4 day course.
The knowledge I have learnt from these talks has influenced the way I operate my own dog grooming buisness as well as caring for my own dogs.
The reason for my efforts in creating this event is simply to give dog lovers of Teeside the chance to listen to Isla's words of wisdom for themselves and to create a better environment for our dogs to live in.
If any profit is made from this event, every penny will be donated to one of our local dog shelters.
To book, please contact Lorraine on 07868 567295. You will NOT be disappointed!
The cost for this event is £55 per person which must be paid in advance to secure a place as places are limited.
Refreshments are provided but you will need to bring lunch with you.
All attendees will recieve a certificate of attendance.
